YMCA Summer Camps

 

2007 YMCA Summer Day Camp


Who: Children entering Kindergarten – 6th grade. There will also be a Jr. High Camp for those youth entering 7th – 9th grade.


What: 2007 YMCA Summer Day Camp


When: May 28th until August 10th, Monday – Friday

• 6:00am – 8:00am Extended Care
• 8:00am – 4:00pm Day Camp
• 4:00pm – 6:00pm Extended Care
o No additional charge for extended care

Where: Summer Camp Sites:

• Clay County Site: Forest Park Elementary
• Putnam County Site: Ridpath Elementary

Fee: A $20.00 supply fee per child will be due at the time of registration.

Weekly Options for Clay County:

• Members: $75 per week/First Child
• Members: $60 per week/Each Additional Child
• Non-Members: $85 per week/First Child
• Non-Members: $70 per week/Each Additional Child

Daily Options for Clay County:

• Members: $18 per day/First Child
• Members: $15 per day/Each Additional Child
• Non-Members: $21 per day/First Child
• Non-Members: $17 per day/Each Additional Child

Weekly Options for Putnam County:

• Members: $75 per week/First Child
• Members: $60 per week/Each Additional Child
• Non-Members: $80 per week/First Child
• Non-Members: $65 per week/Each Additional Child

Daily Options for Putnam County:

• Members: $18 per day/First Child
• Members: $15 per day/Each Additional Child
• Non-Members: $20 per day/First Child
• Non-Members: $16 per day/Each Additional Child

* We will be able to accept CASY vouchers and YMCA Scholarships will be available. Please contact the Y as soon as possible regarding these programs.
 

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP DAILY:
Lunch, drink, tennis shoes, swim suit, towel, sunscreen, and clothing appropriate for the weather. Sandals may be worn at the pool, but not during camp hours. Electronic devises such as Game Boys and CD players may only be used during extended care with staff approval.

REGISTRATION and PAYMENT:
Complete registration and return to the YMCA. Payment is required each week prior to camper’s attendance at Day Camp.

HEALTH & SAFETY:
Health and safety is the first concern of the YMCA. Every precaution is taken to ensure the well-being of the campers. All staff is trained in CPR and First-Aid. First-aid equipment is available at all times.

SWIMMING:
Campers will be supervised by pool lifeguards and YMCA staff. Appropriate swim suits must be worn. Pool rules must be followed. Swimming Days will be announced in advance.

FIELD TRIPS:
Field Trip will be announced in advance. They will occur approximately once every other week. The children and staff will be transported on trips by buses from the Clay Community School or Greencastle Community Schools.
