WHO:
Divisions include: Divisions are based on age at the preseason clinic
10/1/2008.
U6 Coed League (4-5 years old Child must be 4 yrs old by 11/1/08 to
participate.
U8 Coed League (6-7 years old)
U10 Boys League (8-9 years old)
Junior Girls League (8-11 year old)
U12 Boys League (10-11 years old)
Middle School Boys League * (6th, 7th and 8th graders)
Middle School Girls League * (6th, 7th and 8th graders)
* Also individuals in school sports must have school coachs permission to
participate.
WHEN:
The Preseason Clinic will be October 1, 2008
U6-U8 6:00pm; U9-U11 7:00pm; U14 TBA
Practices will start as early as October 7th. Games will begin on Saturday,
November 1st.
WHERE:
YMCA Mendenhall Gymnasium
REGISTRATION:
September 2nd through September 28th
Late Registration is from September 29th through October 2nd.
A waiting list will be taken after October 2nd. These players will be placed
on teams if openings occur.

$30.00 for youth who are YMCA Members
$60.00 for youth who are Non-members
$10.00 additional for late registration
COACHES:
Individuals interested in coaching should call Deb Plummer at the YMCA
and pick up a Coaching Packet . Interested Coaches should also plan on
attending the Preseason Clinic on October 1st and Coaches Meetings Oct 6th
or October 8th.
SPONSORSHIP:
Sponsorship is $100.00 per team. The business name will go on the back
of the team shirts. We also place a thank you ad in the Brazil Times.
Interested sponsors should contact Deb Plummer.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Financial assistance is available to families who qualify. Please ask
about our scholarship programs at the member services desk. Applications
made after September 28th will still be subject to a $10 late fee.

When:
Saturday, August 9th.
The 1st race will start at 8:00am, the2nd at 8:30am
with heats every 15 minutes thereafter.
Where:

Fee:
$10.00 per youth who are YMCA members
$15.00 per youth who are Non-members
$15.00 Additional for late

2008 Youth Dodgeball League
Who:
Elementary League (3rd 5th grade)
Jr. High League (6th 8th grade)
High School League (9th 12th grade)
Adult League (14 yrs +)
What:
YMCA Dodgeball League
This league is for teams only. If individuals are interested in playing,
they can either call or stop by the YMCA and be added to the dodgeball free
agent list. If teams need additional players, members on the free agent list
can be added to a team.
When:
Games will begin on Tuesday March 11th
for the elementary and junior high leagues and on Saturday March 15 for the
high school and Adult League.

YMCA of Clay County Mendenhall Gymnasium

(Must have a MINIMUM
of 4 teams to run a league)

Fee:
(Please fill out the
registration form completely and return by the registration deadline)
$100 per team must pay in full at the
time of registration. There will be no additional fees for your team if paid
on time.
